I was in the market for a new tablet. Almost bought the Zenpad 3s, because I did not like the 32GB of the Tab S3.
Then I found that Bestbuy is selling the tab S3 with 128GB internal memory. If I I add a 256GB into the SD slot I should be good for the next 3 years.

The funny part is that I never heard of this model. It is not advertised, not even listed on the samsung website

I'm not surprised, they had an exclusive on the 64Gb model of the Tab S2. Kind of lame, but Best Buy lands a lot of exclusives or custom configured devices.

Well I went in and played with the Tab S3 and walked away kinda disappointed. It seemed to stutter quite a bit when doing stuff. Especially when compared to the iPad Pro 10.5. I guess I'll just stick with my Tab S for now.

It may sound silly, but wait another week. The dreaded Ios 11 update is suppose to hit tuesday. It will give the ipad pro more true multitasking.
I greatly prefer android platform, but my ipad pro is just vastly better hardward. I had a tab s3 I returned because the experience was not as good as the ipad. And I badly wanted it to be. Well, also, it was way too expensive for a functional s-pen. Having a 128 gb model is a huge bonus...but...its SO expensive!

Thanks for this heads up. Just returned my 32 GB version and picked up a 128 GB version from Best Buy for just a little more out of pocket. After just a few days, I was eating up lots of that 32 GB space using some mapping apps that do not yet allow storing on the SD card. I hope Samsung goes with at least 64 GB on future Tab updates. For now, Best Buy seems to be the only place to find the 128 GB version.

Agree, not as smooth as the iPad Pro 10.5, but a lot more functional IMHO. I just came over from the ipp and much prefer the Tab S3. A little bit of stutter is a small trade off for a more functional, practical tablet.

Yeah Best Buy has an exclusive on that storage option.

Thanks for posting this! I had been going back and forth between a new Android tablet and an iPad Pro. I was actually JUST about to pull the trigger on the iPad. One of my local Best Buy locations seems to have at least one, I think I'm taking a trip after dinner...

UPDATE - Grabbed one. When the employee cashed me out he commented "oh, the good one". lol

Just saw that on there webb site. I went ahead and ordered one. I am glad it's for real.....
Lateck,

Picked mine up Monday night the last day of the sale and glad I did, price went from $579 back up to $699 Tuesday morning. I'm guessing it will probably come back down to $579 as we get closer to Christmas but didn't want to risk it. Loving the device so far, especially comparing it to my Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 which I upgraded from.

I have to agree. I have the Verizon Tab S3 and the lag, especially after it had been "dozing" for a while is horrible and takes a good minute to recovery.
