Samsung raised the trade in value on the launch date by $250 PLUS you get $100 Google play credit!! This is a much better deal. Then, you're not forced to buy stuff you don't need and can reduce your cost of getting the S22 Ultra. Only problem is the 1TB is out of stock. I do have an order in but delivery isn't until April 15. That gives me time to decide if it worth replacing a Note 20U since it loses MST and micro SD. But if I decide to get the S22U, I will definitely reorder with the new deal and cancel with the old deal which is basically making me pay $250 for an tab S7 FE I don't want.

The trade-in value increase must only be for certain models because I just checked at some didn't change and I did notice one was $75 higher. Also, there's no more free memory upgrade it seems as the 128/256/512 are all different prices. I set my configuration and it's actually more expensive by almost $100 now.

Yes models like S21 Ultra and Note 20 Ultra ..

The current new deal is not better than the preorder deal. already been discussed.

Maybe with a trade in but without one, the preorder deal cost me 1199.99 for a 256gb. Price now would be 1299.99. Plus it appears I would to get the $250.00 in earbuds that I can sell on ebay for at least 150-200.

They were better 2 days ago because you got better trade in offers and they was still offering the free memory upgrade. But now I rechecked and the memory upgrade is no longer free.

2 days ago, the trade in value was 600 for a Note 20 Ultra. Now it's 850. Previously you got 250 towards extras (there's no extras I haven't already got over the years). The difference now is 100 Google play credit for a total value of $950 vs $850 previous.

Free memory upgrade is a marketing gimmick. The Note 10+ from 2019 was 256GB. I don't see how after all these years people don't need 1TB. There was no deal for 1TB

I guess it depends what you were trading in and what you value.. it worked out better for me because I needed a second phone and decided to get the 256GB S22. I'm trading a s20FE during the pre-orders they only give me $300 towards trade and now it's up to $400.

The $150 accessory credit is pure trash to me because there's nothing but over price cases. I value the $50 Google Play credit more.

They're only willing to give me $495 for my iPhone 13 Pro Max. What a joke. Best Buy has a $900 trade in credit for the 13 Pro Max.

I private sold my 13 Pro Max for $900... trade-in wasn't even an option during the pre-orders!!!

The price had changed on the site a couple of times after the preorder expired. When I first checked it it was the 100 google credit instead of the 200 samsung credit, and I think the trade in amounts for the carriers were bit less but the pricing for the phones and memory upgrades/etc were the same. Later that day the pricing changed to 1199/1299/1399 for 128/256/512 that it has now.

I traded in a Note 10+ 4G towards the 512 Ultra. It was $425.00 and the $200 credit. That was still a better deal with the preorder... Yes it's been raised to $500 but it still costs more because there is no free memory upgrade...

I had a bad experience on Swappa a few years ago so I'll never use it again.

Any site like Swappa, Ebay, FaceBook marketplace, etc you can have bad experiences on. Just have to be smart when buying from them. Make sure they have many good reviews of recent feedback. I haven't had an issue with Swappa and I've been using them for 9 years.
