Better Unlock Button?

I'm hoping for some development in the app "Shake Awake" ... the concept looks good but it just doesn't work the way i want it to... pick up your phone and give it a little shake.. should wake it up to unlock... not even have to hit the button... just looking for convenience here.. with a phone that's so customizable.. Just dealing with it hardly seems appropriate.

I know this thread has been quiet lately, but I just developed an app that allows you to shake to wake. Search the market for "Shaker" - I published it under "Wise Apps Development". I'm finding it works really well on the Droid, but I don't think it is working on other phones yet. Need to get my hands on the N1 for some testing.

The app does a few more things other than waking the phone too. For example, you can set it so that when you shake in a specific direction, it will answer an incoming call, or interact with the stock music player (i.e. play/pause and next/previous). I will be looking to add some more of these functions in as well.

NICE! This app is looking really good man, only thing I would like to see is for the shake to not only "wake" the screen but also "unlock" it so it just has to be shaken and then it's good to go.
