Big boys in the sandbox

Hey,

Just want to say that I really enjoy playing with the big boys out here in the sandbox. There are so many tech savvy people in this group. I feel really dumb sometimes, because of all you know and all I don't know, but I want to thank you all for not making me feel stupid when I ask a question that is like from the first grade of phones.

I am self taught on everything from computers to phones, so I hold my own, but I am pretty impressed with all of your knowledge.

We all have done the same for the most part. Learned from hands on trial and error. I started back here in early Dec. 2010 with my first Android device. I was decent with computers and not afraid to toy with things. Android Central was my first forum of choice from a general search I did when I first considered moving from my BB and I haven't looked back, best decision I ever made for a forum.

One day you too will share your extended knowledge and skills of Android and in turn be giving back to the same community that gave to you

Agreed. I've been lurking around these forums since I got my EVO and was so impressed with the people that I joined up. I learn stuff almost daily because of the knowledge people freely share.

I'm a hardware guy so I'm chicken and don't mess with the software stuff but I enjoy reading about how to do roots and things. Maybe one day I'll understand enough.

This is a really friendly forum.

Not really. Check out iFans.com, its a great community, where I came from. While the Apple community is declining rapidly, due to more people just jailbreaking for free stuff, there is potential. However, Android is where its at now.
