Ah well, seemed early for Oreo... very slow to download update, even over 100MBs plan...

I'm glad I'm not the only one. Came here to see if others were doing this software upgrade at excruciatingly slow download speeds as well.

It's taken a couple of hours on Wi-Fi just to be at my current 18%. Slow like molasses!

Well no wonder this is taking forever! I just fired up LG Bridge and checked for updates...it's 3.1GB! It took about 3 minutes to download on my laptop so installing now. I should have thought of this hours ago! The info was extremely vague once again..."Fixes and improvements".

Update: Bah...it's still telling me it's doing the OTA download. I don't think the update worked. I guess I have to let it finish

Wow, it sure is taking a while; but I'm excited to see what the update brings! "Phone usability and functionality" are vague, yes; so maybe it will improve things like battery life, speed, etc? Though the G6 seems pretty fast from all the reviews I've seen.

just got mine too in indonesia, LG G6 H870DS. i got it yesterday, weighing at 1.2GB. firstly i thought it was the O but then nope.. still on N but yeah it comes with under the hood improvements and January security patch (hopefully with the fixes for Krack etc as well).

it took me about 1hr20min on my carrier over LTE connection and the update took my phone about 10 mins to load.

it's been 18 hrs since the update and looks like promising, hoping to see more! and O, of course...
