Biggest mobile disappointment...

I agree it was sold as the best camera out there but it isn't. Stationary targets are fine but there is too much blur with kids running around that I didn't get with my iPhone 6 and my wife doesn't get with hers now. It is also supposed to be ready to shoot in 1 second and it hasn't done that since day 1. More like 4 to 5 seconds.

Then you should've returned it since day 1. Clearly a case of a damaged device from factory or simply a rogue app you still have. My 10 S6's I have set since it's release in April are all working great, no lags, everything as advertised including camera and very good battery life.

10 of them? Lol

I am far from a Samsung fan, but the camera is quite amazing. It starts up within 1s. I think you got a dud or something. Two of my work colleagues have the Edge too and their cameras launch instantly. The pictures are stunning in quality.

Why the LOL? Yes, 10 of them, 3 mine, and 7 for family and friends, still working great as the first day.

This thread is called the biggest mobile disappointment, for me, with more than a dozen of phones (flagships) in the past year from every major Android brand, from Sony, HTC, LG, Motorola, One Plus and Samsung, I can honestly say that my 3 S6 variants, S6 Edge, S6 and S6 Active have been the best smartphones I've had in my life.

Currently using the S6 active as my daily driver after selling my Blue Topaz S6 last week and switching between it and the Edge every couple of weeks for a couple of days just to not get bored as I normally do. So far, it's been so good the the only phone in really waiting for now is the Sony Z5 to see what Sony finally does with it, if not, then maybe I'll get a S6 Edge + down the road in a couple of months when prices get down considerably.
