Just wondering what apps really suck down the juice, please share your experiences!

really CPU intense live wallpapers, online chat services like Ebuddy, game emulators, and anything that uses the GPS is all i've got off the top of my head

How can you tell what app is specifically using the battery? The power management feature in settings usually just says that the display is 90% and standby is 10% (give or take).

Dial *#*#4636#*#* on your dialer. This brings up a menu with battery information. It has extensive info on what is using your system resources.

Online multiplayer games.

I had one that made my phone smoke through the battery in under 2 hours.
Plus it made it SO freaking hot, I couldn't even hold onto it.

Bluetooth for extended period of time.
Weatherbug too

I'll have to disagree with the bluetooth thing. I have mine on all day and use a headset to make calls and at MOST, it's taken up 3-4% of my overall battery according to the Battery Info page.

Maybe it depends on the device it's connected to? Perhaps some headsets "ping" the connected phone to often?
