Supposedly this is not a firmware update but a system app update via Galaxy app store. Will check out in a bit.

Just checked still no update on the Galaxy store.

After the update fingerprint version should be 2.0.8.4

Mine still is 2.0.4.1, let's hope we get update soon.

My biggest gripe is getting the screen to wake up so you can unlock by the FPS.

You dont have to wake it. You can just press your finger on the spot.

Yup, you just have to know where to place your finger. Works good for me if I hit the right spot.

Yeah, but it's not as accurate and seems to make we wake the phone up anyway. Thats why it drives me nuts.

Anyway, I'm unlocked and US and around 2 am EST I checked and it's waiting for me. I just hope the FPS is in this one. I've seen posts that have mixed up the updates with the one that was available at launch so I'm 50/50 on it. It keeps changing for me it seems. So some days it's like I can't miss and then it's spotty but last night it just stopped. I had to swipe 4 out of 5 times. It'd be nice if there were some other goodies in there too but I'll take it for now.

Woke up this morning with this update from the Galaxy Store on my AT&T S10. With some initially testing seems to work better at recognizing my thumb prints (fewer false readings). Hope this really works better from here on out.
