perusing the Nexus forum, I already see complaints about a lack of common features such as the ability to individually set call and notification volume. Two people can't find a way to do that (i've no idea if they have overlooked something, but I doubt it!).

EDIT: and now I see complaints about low volume...and the display, when dimmed (pentile display complaints. :) )

Every new device is like this. The Thunderbolt seemed rough in the beginning and it is darn near perfect now.

Id take a nexus right now. If i could get one cheap. Development is going to be sick for that hardware.

exactly. nothing is perfect, and right out of the chute there will be niggling issues.

Except 3 months later, we still have issues with the Bionic. Whatever issues there are with the Nexus, I'll bet it won't take three months to get a shoddy update.

I don't have ANY serious issues. what's wrong with yours? My camera is fast, 4G is rock stable, no disappearing apps, no headphone output whine...even focus hunting in video mode has been resolved on my unit.

Nothing is wrong with my Bionic. It's pretty flawless after the latest update.

Check under your battery. Is it HW A or HW B?

I have HW A...since I got my phone shortly after launch.

i don't have my launch one any more to check. if I remember, i'll check next time i swap batteries. (don't be surprised if I forget :) )

I don't really have issues with my Bionic at all.

Still, I'd love to have a Nexus. Every device has issues, and pros/cons. Samsung's radios aren't great, but its a Nexus and has ICS, etc. There's plenty of ways to look at it.

Be happy with your device is all you can do. :)
