I rooted my bionic months ago and never used any rooted apps. I attempted to run a battery calibrator app and it said I must be rooted. The problem is that apps like the movie rental app from DROID will not run and they say that my phone is rooted. Please help!

Hmm let's see settings about phone and it should tell you which from android version and kernel 0.0 and if its cm 9 go to your settings and security find root check both of the boxes click OK then reboot then your done and also download root checker from the play store

When I check kernel it says " 2.6.35.7-g4fc328e" below that it says "hudsonCM@il93lnxdroid80#1"
. Root checker says denied superuser permissions

And cm 9 ok thats a cm 9 kernel so settings> security>find the root access check both boxes reboot and boom full root acess

It should be under root access in a cm9 build but seriously look at the phone info and tell me what from your on now listen closely if you downloaded an un rooted leaked early build of the official ics , out mite be a little screwed

Have you installed VooDoo? See Play Store.

If someone installed Voodoo and temp unrooted, that will show up as an unrooted device.

I use Voodoo because I like to rent movies from Block Buster. If you are rooted, you can't rent a movie. So I use Voodoo to temp un-root, watch the movie, then reroot once I'm done.
