Bixby and Google Assistant can Coexist!

Alot of ppl seem to be down on Bixby and I was to because I am an avid Google Assistant user, however I may have pre-judged due to my ignorance to what Bixby is actually good for. Basically Bixby is great for all things you want to do on your individual phone and Google Assistant is good for searching. This video is very thorough in explaining which assistant is best used for and even though I havn't used Bixby much except playing on my wife's S8 plus I can see once my note 8 arrives today that I may actually use Bixby often! They can Coexist!

Yep. People jump the gun. Because they feel their forced to use it. Actually your not. Get another phone then. Easy solution. Bixby is very useful actually.

Well I never jumped the gun -- I just prefer using an Assistant that is tied into my other products and not only my Samsung phone.

I also never felt forced to use it. I still have yet to ever accept the terms so... it doesn't work on my phone. Simple .

Only issue I have with Bixby is the button placement. In my opinion it's just far to easy to activate Bixby while picking the phone up of messing with the volume.

Yes I find Bixby gets activated by mistake often on my S8.

Same I like Google Assistant because I just use it everywhere, on all Android phones, home, even iOS.

Bixby personally never bother me, it can be on the phone I'll use it once in a while but Assistant will be my go-to.

while I haven't yet had a chance to use Bixby because I don't have a Note or S8/+ device, am I the only one that doesn't use Google Assistant? I'm still not convinced it's good to have the mic always on. Call me paranoid, I guess?
