T-Mobile Galaxy S8 Bixby button - single or double press?

I have T-Mobile galaxy s8+. I noticed that I have to double-press the Bixby button for it to start. I would just like to do a single press for Bixby to start.

Is this customizable somewhere? What is the behavior for you?

PS: I am not actually using Bixby, I am using the BixRemap to launch google assistant.

Try doing really quick/short single tap. Does that work? On either mine a double tap or a very short single tap will both start Bixby.

There's a delay but mine works after 1 tap. I'm on Att post update
