Verizon Galaxy S8 Bixby - Can I remove it completely?

I've checked some forums and Google, and I've followed the advice on disabling at least much of Bixby. Is there a way to get rid of it entriely? For example, I disabled Bixby Vision. However, as in the screenshot, my camera still presents the Bixby Vision button to allow Bixby Vision to take pictures. I also disabled the Bixby button. I've forced a few services, like Bixby Home, to stop, but they come back at some point. It's not critical, but I'd rather just do without Bixby. Thanks.

Unless you root and completely remove the Bixby-related files, nope. And even that would require you to use a modified version of the launcher and camera as they have Bixby-specific coding (or they'd probably not work properly when the Bixby elements are gone).

Using a different launcher and, I guess in your case, camera would help alleviate some of the 'issues'

Thanks very much! I didn't know that one could download camera apps. I'm trying one named Simple Camera. No ads, and with my limited camera use, it may be easier all around. I just want to point and click.

I've done like you did. Disabled as much of Bixby as I can. The rest, I just ignore.

I also want to get rid of whatever that stupid looking animal face filter thing is opposite the Bixby Vision thing, but I just have to ignore that too.
