Bixby home replaced with Samsung daily

Today got an update in galaxy store to replace Bixby home with Samsung daily. Looks sleek but I don't see option to add calendar as card.

it force close after update on note 10 plus / clear cache and data not fix , back to bixby home

I'm glad Samsung went this route with the updates vs. waiting for 2.1 to come out for the Note. They're releasing 2.1 features without waiting to release everything at once with 2.1. The camera update should be soon with Single Take and other features from the S20's without haven't to wait until Samsung decides the full update is ready. App updates with the 2.1 features is the way to go.

Calendar event is now integrated in the first screen along with weather. Nice!!

I seem to have both, Bixby when using Bixby button and Samsung Daily separate as an app

Is Samsung Daily available for their Samsung Galaxy tablets? I don't see this update or app you guys are talking about.

Bixby Home is still available in the Galaxy Store. The install button is shaded out. Maybe an update is in the works for their tablets. We shall see...

The calendar integration with Samsung Daily is not as good as Bixby. It only shows the next event when it is coming up soon. It also doesn't show all day events at all.

Also, it is showing me an upcoming event that is not even in the calendar.

Seems to be a step back.

I saw an update for Bixby Home. It was updating in the Galaxy Store for my Samsung Galaxy Tab A. Where the update went is anybody's guess. I can't use the app or open it. Sigh!

Just got an update to Samsung daily (Galaxy store) with the version changes mentioned as adding support to include calendar as a card. But after I updated, I still didn't see the option. May be because my phone still on one UI 2.0.

nope one ui 2.1 here n10+ and no more card even calendar

^This. Spot on. Once I realized how badly implemented Bixby was, I bailed. It was running until I read the EULA... fortunately I read it first. Bixby is as stupid as it's name.

It's like having the FBi, NSA, CIA and the Samsung CEO in your pocket. Bixby is a full blown data mining nightmare or at least has the potential to be.
"It can't be hacked" and "What could go wrong?" come to mind.
