Bixby question

I sparingly use Bixby and I've recently found that when I try to launch Bixby with a double tap of the power button it launches with Bixby splash screen then doesn't open up to the app. I tried doing it by going straight to the app via the app drawer and the same thing happens. Bixby is working somewhere in the background because my Bixby routines show up in the notification shade. I've tried to clear the cache via app with no luck.
Any ideas? It may have started after the update to 11 but I'm not positive.

Have you tried holding the button so that Bixby is listening (and don't say anything) and when the bottom animation shows up, release the button. That should leave a bar with a microphone and a home button that should launch the full Bixby app.

Thanks! it's fixed...I guess after the update it needed to "relearn" me...

Yes it can. It can do most of the system tasks. Recently I stopped using Google assistant and using only Bixby on my phone.
