Bixby Routines

Hi all,

I set up a work routine on the device so it turns the phone to mute when I arrive at a location but noticed it never works.

Also tried to set one up to turn on WiFi when I get home and the same issue.

If I go into the app it'll turn on but that defeats the purpose.

Anyone else had any issues? Or any advice on how to get it working right?

I have one set to turn my wifi OFF when I get home. It tells me "Routine is running" when I get there, but the phone is still connected to wifi. I gave up and deleted it.

Works for me. I created a work one as well, location based, to mute phone, wifi on, change lock screen shortcuts and Always on Display on. It works every time. Have you verified your work location is set correctly? I have seen if you are in a big building you could be too far away from where it thinks "work is"

Agreed. My Bixby routines work great. But just today I went into a conference room that I rarely use and my work routine turned off. Opening Google Maps and getting my location fixed this.

When they work, they are handy. Like others, mine worked sporadically, so I turned them off.

Agree on this. If you work in a big location, ideally you need to set the location to where you work in the building (while at desk, office, etc) in google maps. Even google assistant will not know you are at work.
