While I hate Verizon does stuff like this.. this particular thing doesn't bother me. It wasn't a selling point for me.

One thing they did remove that I welcome is the clean Master software.

I don't really care either but if you did then just wait for the unlocked version and buy that so you don't have to deal with carrier modifications.

Yes. In the past unlocked updated slower than carrier models. Samsung cs indicated that this would change but there was no official statement and it's too early to tell if true or not

As of tonight, Bixby Vision shopping is live on Verizon, I got the update in the Galaxy App Store on my S8+.

I'm not even finding it in Goggle Play.

It's not in Google Play, you have to go into Galaxy Apps, then it will show up in updates.
