Bizzare Noob Question ref Gmail

Good Evening Everyone,

I am in college and trying to set up my edu email account on my phone to configure with my Gmail account since they are both powered by google, but every time I try to add the edu email account it keep saying that it is not a gmail account. (is it a certain app I need?) Is there a way of doing this? I get tired of always having to go to my comp to check my school mail. Thank You In Advance.

If it is POP or IMAP, just choose "Other".

Thanks Frank but it still wont recognize it, I have a headache lmao I will wait till tomorrow and deal with it lol

I assume its the edu one it wont recognize?

I assume its using google apps.

I believe they can turn off stiff like that when setting up google apps. So it might not work.
