BL Unlockable S9 (for warranty reasons) - looking for ways to make the most of it

So, even if my country is in the EU, both Samsung AND the phone shop refuse to keep the S9 under warranty, if I change the software (meaning root, bootloader unlock, flash kernel, recovery, etc).

So what are my chances of making the most out of this phone? Battery life is terrible, but I don't want to turn things on just because it's stupidly optimized. I don't think it's right to advertise this great display and keep it on 720p/1080p because the battery sucks. I disabled a lot of apps (including the eff-in Bixby).

I have AOD, Data/Wi-FI, High Performance profile, Dolby, Edge Light, Blue Light Filter, WQHD+, Game Mode On, Motion Wallpaper, Auto Brightness on, Forced GPU Rendering, some gestures and Video Enhancer and have like max 4h of SOT with normal use.

There's also a lot of bloat that I can't see the use of (WHOLE Device Maintenance, Secure Wi-Fi, etc), but probably I can't do much about it.

First, AOD, data, wifi, Dolby, edge light and active wallpaper all suck battery (and I can't really see any need for any of them except, maybe, AOD).

Second, 4 hours SoT isn't terrible, it's about normal. the days of 3 days between charges are still in the future. Even 8 hours of normal use without a charge is something not many people get.

Bloat doesn't cost battery (only space). Recoveries don't change battery consumption. Rooting won't change battery consumption.

I'd accept it the way it is, charge it to 80%, don't discharge it past 30%, and it should last until you decide to get rid of it. (My Note 3 batteries lasted 4 years.)

It is lower than average but without knowing the exact usage and conditions, it is hard to say if 4 hours is good or bad.

You can use an app like package disabler pro to disable apps beyond what the apps menu will let you, but it would only help if those apps are actually running in the background

I even got worse results yesterday, lol. 1h and 40 mins. Just browsing, Facebook, Messenger and some calls.

Android system usage is waaay to high.
On my s9+ I've never seen it go over 10%. And that was on heavy usage because it usually sits around 3%.

Yeah. I get like 1% drain at every 30 mins, without data/wifi on. Just with what I wrote in the first post. IN STAND BY (phone not used). Technically only Always On Display is used...
