Black crush?

I started watching tv shows from several sources. I noticed it was kind of dark compared to what i'm used to from lcd. With lighting around (especially in public transport) it's not a good experience. Especially details around black areas or objects is barely visible compared to my XZ2 Compact with lcd display when i compare the same content.

I chose this tablet over alternative options specifically for the gorgeous display.
I really thought amoled had no issues compared to the commom lcd issues..

Does anyone else notice this issue, or is it just me who's sensitive? (i am sensitive to display issues)

I'm guessing you've increased the screen brightness?

Yes. I think it's just easier to cover a smaller screen. Bigger screen, more glare, sunlight.. Just a bit unexpected i guess as i haven't owned a tablet for years. That said, dark details are definitely better on a lcd display.
