Black/Grey screen of Death

Short Story: After 5 days of use, my G2 screen is all greyed out.

Long Story:

I was heading out to New York for the Comic Con and my G1 battery stopped holding a charge. I needed a phone for New York so I went into my local T-Mobile and they said I could get the new G2 a day early, which was great because I was leaving at 6am the next morning.

I spent Wednesday thru Sunday enjoying my new G2 in New York. It really seems to be a great phone.... and then Sunday night I off loaded the pictures and videos from my phone to my lap top. Unplugged it walked to the bedroom and zzz... no screen. Just dead. I've tried powering it down... leaving the battery out for extended periods... plugging it into the computer... various button pushing. Nothing. The phone seems to be working... just no desktop or screen. I've read some other people are having this problem.

Not good.

Switch her out, all new phones have bad batches/quirks early. It sucks and is frustrating I know, but it happens.

Mines is still going strong, however keep in mind I had to replace mines due to "the hinge" problem, regardless it never shut off on my. I have had an issue where, when I unlock it, it starts to lower the ringer to vibrate and it keeps spamming it, so all I get is vibrating, only issue I have had with this device.
