Black is the only color for the 512GB model?

This ain't a good year to buy a note phone.
Seems Somebody at Samsung wasn't thinking about the customers.
1st we didnt get the memory and storage that should of been in the phone.
We gotba note build backwards.

There's plenty of memory....12GB

Storage offered is up to 512GB so there is plenty of storage. The issue is the bottom end at 128GB which will be adequate for some but 256GB would have been a better option.

256 would of been fantastic

Depending on the person, 128gb is plenty of storage space. However, coming from 256 on the N10+ 128 seems like a downgrade IMO.

I agree. I have 256 on my Note 10+ but looking today have used 59 of that. I don't think I will notice the difference if I grab the 128 version of the Note 20 Ultra, which is what I plan on doing.

Honestly I can make 128 work. I just choose not to an put a lot of useless junk on my phone :)

I only went with the 512GB because it was going to cost me about 8 bucks a month through Samsung's finance, PayBright. So I figured why not? :)

In what use case woud 512 be necessary with expandable srorage?

Not sure why everyone assumes their usage matches everyone's usage. I have a Note 10+ 512 and a large SD card. I travel extensively world wide for business. Often connectivity is questionable. I carry a lot of large files and other work documents. I also, take a lot of videos. Many for work. On my entertainment side I carry a lot of media on my SD card. I hate streaming. I am very happy to have great options. I finally have a phone I don't have to worry about running out of storage.

Exactly....why 128 is the base for their premium line is astounding. Lasts years Note plus was 256 base. It just doesn't make sense
I agree. I was pretty disappointed that I couldn't get black in 256. That 128 wouldn't even hold all my music so that definitely was out. the plus side to getting the 512 is that I can finally get rid of my sd card.

Oh sure they make complaints. The only difference though and not taking up for apple as they aren't my style, but they're pro model which is two different sizes have the same colors. It's their entry level model that doesn't. By that same reasoning their regular Note 20 and Ultra would have the same colors.

I guess there is only 12 gb of ram on all ultra versions too. I know the S20 ultra had 16 gb of ram with the 512 option. It's no biggie, but I am used to the Note series being the spec king of Samsung devices each year .

The mystic black on the website looks more matte, but the videos I have seen it looks glossy. I'm hoping it's matte black Screenshot_20200810-095319_Shop%20Samsung.jpeg

For me, movies and tv shows take up most of my space. I load up the phone for when I'm on the go. Do I need all that? No.
Same. My main storage has 112gb used now and I have a Samsung Evo 512 GB SD card which is where I store my photos and media. 128 GB is a no go for me.

I agree that 256 GB should have been standard. But for me 128 GB is plenty enough since I don't have anything locally that needs that much storage. Music and photo/video are online solutions with like cached copy of I really need it.

In terms of SD card, not sure when I last used SD card on a phone and I don't like SD cards. Prefer the faster onboard faster flash storage. That's why I also never hate Pixel or iPhone since never use SD card even if it's available

Obviously everyone's usage/preference is different and for me 128 GB is minimum storage I need before it becomes deal breaker. 256 GB is sweet spot.

Also, for the 512 GB option Samsung should have also increased RAM to 16 GB. Even then I would have probably just gone with base model this time around.
