Black Lock Screen - Galaxy S10

[Android Central Question]

Hi
My S10 started doing stange things today.
All of the sudden there is a bright flickering on the lower part of my phone when I try to unlock it. My screen also stays black most of the times when I unlock it.
Once every 8-10 times, while pressing the power button, it turns on.

I've turned my sound on and can hear my phone unlocking with my fingerprint each time but the screen stays black.
Anyone any ideas of what it could be?

Hardware failure?

Check if screen protector or case is interfering with the proximity sensor , or can put phone in safe mode.
