Black screen of death ?

So my tablet heated up super hot while charging. Then it would only boot into the screen with those three icons. Now nothing. It charges but it is almost as if its turning on but the screen is not lighting up....is the end!? Totally stock and never rooted. I've had it over a year so no warranty.......
