BlackBerry Hub not showing all text

So I switched from BlackBerry Priv to S8+ and to my surprise BlackBerry Hub installed. Anyways my daughter text me and goes both to hub and messages. But my wives text goes to messages and does not appear in hub. Anyone using the hub on this phone that might have a fix?

Installing the BlackBerry Hub and keyboard were among the first things I did with my S8+. Both are working great. Any incoming text messages should go to both the Hub and your Messages app.

If you've already tried a reboot with no change, I would suggest going to Apps > BlackBerry Hub+ Services > Storage, and clear the cache. Repeat for the Hub app, then reboot. This may help.

If not, the next step would be to clear the data or remove and reinstall these. But as that will require setting up your Hub accounts again, save that for the last resort.

Thanks, I'll try your suggestions. How did you get the keyboard installed? Can't seem to find in in google store?

The process is far simpler than it looks at first glance, and it works great. It's the BlackBerry Manager that you'll need.

I have hub installed. I noticed that I'm not getting group text messages. I probably won't keep it after the free trial period. Any idea how much the subscription is?

It's $1.29 CAD. I believe it's $0.99 USD.

I reset phone, deleted my wife's contact and still she is the only one that does not go to the hub only messages. A bit frustrated about now and not sure what it is about her number? contact deleted and text her directly with phone number not using contacts. Anyone have any ideas?

I had to delete the Blackberry Hub from my S8+. It just wasn't reliable in notifying me about incoming email. I turned it off for Battery Optimization to prevent it from going to sleep and that helped "some" but it still stayed quiet when it should have.

Ok, I knew it had something to do with the Samsung messenger. I installed Android messages, made it the default messenger and that fixed the problem.

Odd that the Samsung messenger was the culprit. I have it plus the standard (Google) messages app. Both work.

Having both installed would definitely fix it. Hub was only designed for stock Google Messenger
