Blank apps on recents screen:

The blank apps problem rectifies as soon as I touch the screen - all the recent app cards populate correctly.

Any idea why they initially appear blank?

Just did that as you advised - same issue exists there.

Hmm , try going into settings>apps>find your launcher and tap >clear its data then force stop but this will delete your current home page layout,folders, chrome shortcut to home screen

That's the thing - I'd just been given the phone as a hand-me-up from my son who did the reset.

Thats great, but you still have a problem with your stock launcher

I know but I see no way of fixing it but, if Nova keeps performing, I won't need Huawei's.
