blinkfeed battery drain

hi guys, I have noticed that my battery seems to be draining more than usual. I checked and found that blinkfeed is using 25-35%. I never noticed this before and the problem is I NEVER use blinkfeed and I actually have it turned off. am I missing something?

Blinkfeed is now the name of the launcher so that's why it shows using the battery like that. it's normal.

Yes, I found out the hard way that they have renamed Sense to "Blinkfeed" when IT ried to disable it and deleted all cache and data for Blink Feed since I don't use it. Then I went back to my home screen and found it was back to the default setup.

The amount of battery drain for Blinkfeed might be "normal" at 30-45% with this new version of Android, but it has never been that way in the past. If there's not an update that fixes the battery drain, this will be my last HTC phone. I've only had this phone for a little over 7 months and i'm having to do two full charges per day. More if I use it a lot.
