I have been trying and trying to add custom RSS feeds to blinkfeed using the M8 on Verizon.

The manual instructs one to use the stock browser and then go tot eh RSS feed I want and then I should be given an option to add it to blinkfeed...

But, on the verizon model, all I have is Chrome an it does not give me the option to add.

Anyone have away around this or am I just not doing it right?

On BlinkFeed, swipe right. There are three dots up top. Use that to add content.

Although that does allow me too add content, it does not allow me to added custom RSS feeds.

Anyone else with a solution?

I have the Verizon M8. Apparently BlinkFeed does not work with Feedburner which tons of sites I follow use. I HAVE been able to add a couple of feeds from sites that don't use Feedburner by clicking on the RSS link on the site in Chrome and a pop-up will appear with BlinkFeed as an option. Click it and BlinkFeed will open and you can then add the site as a custom feed. I really hope they update BlinkFeed to use Feedburner feeds.

That must be the issue.. A couple of my feeds are atom. Hope it gets fixed. Starting to really like blink feed.

I dont really use it but I do know there was an update for Blinkfeed in the Play Store.. maybe it addressed this?

And it didn't.. Using a new browser worked for a few add's... But then resorted back to the same issue... Anyone?

I'm struggling with the same thing. First, I tried to add a feed that, as it turns out - is a Feedburner feed, and it would only give me the option to open in Chrome (or BeyondPod, the only other RSS capable app I have installed). Then, I tried to add a different feed, but it simply opened a Chrome tab displaying the raw XML. After that, I went to Android Central and tried to add that RSS (you only get the option to do that when viewing the desktop version of the site, by the way). This time, it actually gave me "Blinkfeed RSS" as an option, but when I selected it, it opened Blinkfeed and then reported "unable to display content". So, I'm 0 for 3 so far and getting pretty frustrated with the whole endeavor. I just tried Android Central a second time and if worked. Go figure.

Sites use to have rss next to Facebook , Twitter, and YouTube but I don't see it anymore so I like to know the answer to that also .

Anyone?

I still can't get this working... RSS buttons always take me to the RAW XML file or download...

It doesn't open the menu to select Blinkfeed.

I know, its an old thread but as the blinkfeed is included in the M8s which I just got and probably other new htc devices, and this thread is one of the topmost google results when you google the problem then here goes:

I found a solution for this issue, there is this app, which showed up as german at first for me, but actually was in english:
https://forums.androidcentral.com/e...etails?id=com.nevoxo.blinkfeed&token=q8dEd_gx

This worked excellent for adding blogspots feedburner feed to blinkfeed. I was already going crazy and insulting htc in their https://forums.androidcentral.com/e...t/htc-one-m8/howto/464895.html&token=IpuUqSc4 tutorial...
