BlinkFeed vs My Magazine

I had some time with my Magazine on the Note 3 and to my surprise it was no where near as fluid and fast as BlinkFeed. Has anyone had a chance to use both? To add I didn't see any options to add Facebook or Instagram on My Magazine.
