BLN Kernel

I have searched the forums but have not been able to find the answer, so please forgive for a repost, I am currently running:
Firmware: 2.2.1
Baseband: s:i500.04 V.ED04
Kernel: 2.6.32.9
Build: SCH-i500.ED04
I would like to use the BLN CONTROL app, but it says I need a different kernel. Could someone please advise which kernel and how to flash just a kernel? I have only flashed entire roms. Thanks in advance!

PS I recently left the SF for the LG revolution---what a mistake!!! I am back and staying with the Fascinate!!!

Go to [How To][Links] Themes, ROMs, Kernels, Boot Animations Post #4 and scroll down to the Kernels section. Pretty much all aftermarket kernels support BLN function. They should all be .zip files that install via CWM just like ROMs do. I'd recommend staying away from Voodoo ones until you read up on them some more. That info can be found in the How to Voodoo thread.

Dont mean to hijack this thread but I assume the original poster is having the same issue as I am. When launching BLN, I get an error message stating " Your phone is not (officially) supported by BLN. The liblights on this device does not support BLN. Latest BLN kernel found. Do you want to get some instructions to resolve this problem? "Yes" will open the webiste".

I have tried searching and it seems it is not possible to use BLN on 2.2 for the verizon fascinate as of yet?
