bloat free rom?

will we ever see a bloat free rom? i believe that would give the OS a huge boost

Can you elaborate some more? I use the team hydro rom on my OS and I was under the impression that it is relatively bloat-free. Compared to the stock rom and kernel, the hydro rom and gingerbread kernel give a rather significant performance boost (at least as far as battery life is concerned)

I think what he wants is those stock apps gone. So being a ROM when flashed will not have the stock apps such as youtube.gmail.etc.

You can always remove them yourself... not to hard with the right permissions and a file explorer...

I hope that isn't what he meant because that would mean he is incredibly lazy. You can root your phone and remove any apps you don't want using another app like titanium backup. It's a really simple process.

But wouldn't TB only freeze the app. Wouldn't truley remove it from your system.

No, you have the control with TB to freeze OR uninstall. It will remove it completely.

I wasn't sure. I don't use TB. I don't have any good means too. I try to minimize the apps I have on my phone, very few.
