Blockbuster App

Can someone give me the low down on the blockbuster app and how to stop it from running in the background?

I searched about 10 pages and couldn't find a thread with blockbuster as the header, although I know its buried in there some where.

There is a service running. If you go to Settings>Applications>Running Services it is called something like "PVWmdrmService" This seems to run regardless of if you have ever opened the Blockbuster application or not. To remove it just open the Blockbuster Application, it will ask you to update, do it. Then once its update has finished open the application back up hit Menu>Settings>Disable Movie Updates and the process should stop.

With my Evo.

In the settings I selected "cancel movie updated services".

After I did this,

I noticed once I killed the BB app. It doesn't
run in the background.

I disabled the movie updates, and rebooted but it appears that file is still running when i look under applications, manage applications, running. Should i kill it? Like a force close?

I think that generally people were finding that the service was eating up battery. After the update and teh cancellation of updates it seems to be in there, but idle, so not using battery

I still have it running don't see it using the battery tho. Would it say under the battery use and see that service under there if it was using the battery
