blocked phone numbers still able to leave voicemail

[AC Question]

I have several numbers from spammers blocked in my Samsung G4 but they are still able to get to my voicemail. Is there some other setting I can use to stop this. The same several numbers keep calling quite frequently. I am not a sophisticated user so if there is a solution, I'd appreciate really specific instructions. Sure am learning a lot though since I got this phone! Love it.

Welcome to Android Central! Your wireless provider might have a feature where you can select a few numbers to block, so check with them.
