Blocked texts question

Hello, I wanted to know if there's a definite way of telling if someone blocked my texts. Does an alternative SMS app give delivery reports? My stock SMS app doesn't allow delivery reports.

Delivery reports are not a native function of SMS. Some carriers have found a way to add them, but that would also be utilizing the carrier's texting app and has to be between devices on that carrier's network.

Ah. Okay. Thank you. I guess the only way I can really tell is to call and pay attention to the amount of rings or if it says call cannot be completed.

Even if your SMS app does support delivery receipts, you won't find them helpful for your purpose. "Blocked" messages are actually delivered to the phone but silently discarded instead of being saved to the message database.

Also, SMS messages can often be blocked separately from phone calls.
