Blu G9 Phone Start-up Sound

Is it possible to mute the "hardware" start-up sound on a Blu G9 phone? If so, how? By "hardware" I mean the process before the first code-in at start-up. I can mute the Android ("software") start-up sound by ensuring vibrate/silent mode is turned on at the previous shut-down. By "software" I mean the process after the first code-in at power-up and before the second code-in.
