Not recognizing Selected Phone Numbers for Call or Text

Typically when you long press over a phone number, it will pop up options in addition to copy or select all or web search and it will offer Call or Message because it knows its a phone number. My pixel 10 Pro XL is no longer providing that option. So now I have to copy the number and then go to messaging or phone app and paste in order to accomplish that task. How can I reset this? What is this called, because googling how it works doesn't provide the correct information. Again, you're reading an email and Sarah says call me at 702-555-1212 and if you long press, it would select the number and pop up the on screen options and it should include call or when you press the over arrow some other options like Message or whatever. For example, mine also have see reddit answers as an option in that menu.

Are you seeing any options at all when you highlight a phone number? Like Copy, Share, etc.?

EDIT: Rereading your post, I see that there's at least a Reddit-associated option. From what I've found on the web, some apps can mess around with the context menu (e.g., Microsoft 365). See what happens if you temporarily uninstall Reddit.

That didn't do it. The reddit suggestion is now gone, but that is it. Can someone verify that when they long press and highlight a number in something that it does provide the options to call or message?

So I just tried pasting the number into the phone app. Then I long pressed on the number in the dialer and when I did that, I DID get the context menu that I would expect to see elsewhere showing Call and then under the arrow a bunch more options like message or facebook messenger or whatsapp. I would normally see those anywhere on the device when I long press a number. I don't know if that helps narrow it down.
