BLU Life One (2015) & Lollipop

I had to edit the apn settings to get it to work.. Note, I had to edit, not put in a new APN profile..

I left name at straight talk, apn = reseller, mmsc = http://mmsc.mobile.att.net, proxy = proxy.mobile.att.net, mms port = 80, mcc = 310
mnc = 410, apn type - default,mms,supl

all the rest left the same..

I can send and receive picture messages on the installed messaging app..

Those are the same APN settings I have. But, we are both on Tracfone. Others may be on different providers

Update: reset APN setting and re-entered TF settings. Same problem with picture MMS.The symptom is that the app just makes the picture disappear. There's no "sending..." and then failure to send (which is what I encounter when the APN is wrong). Upon relaunch the picture reappears as draft. Something is screwed up with the default Messaging app.

BTW, I tested Google Messenger and that app works fine for picture MMS --- another indication that it is the app and not the APN settings.

Will just use Messenger and disable Messaging. Presumably both are written by Google.

I am using what ever came with lollipop, I think it is messenging V5.0.2..

on another sub, Blu responded to my inquiries re the storage issue and why the camera can't store to the SD card.. They said they were working on it and keep my eye on Facebook for any updates..
