Blu Studio 6.0 LTE - Erratic Touchscreen and Non Responsive Section

I just started having issues with my touchscreen. There is no physical damage to the screen. There is a 1 cm wide horizontal section that is essentially dead. I also get random key touches at times. And one final issue, is that multi touches occur when I am just touching one location.

I am assuming it is hardware, anyone have similar experiences?

No Response from Blu Support yet. I is only 1 month old, so I expect it to be covered under warranty.

Yeah, that sounds like a problem with the digitizer. Does that exact strip continue to be unresponsive when you rotate to landscape?
