More like the 512 blue. Many reported they could get that "Thanos Pink" while the blue was hard to come by.

Anyway, I preordered my Verizon 512 Blue through a local kiosk on the 16th and got it on the 24th. Interesting enough, when I tried to order through my local Best Buy, I was informed the 512 blue was backordered, yet a local kiosk in my area was able to get one for me, so...

There is no confusion, unlocked phones work with all carriers. Only the firmware is different based on if it's a particular carrier model or unlocked. If you buy unlocked model, it'll work on all carriers but certain carrier features like WiFi calling, VoLTE, visual voicemail etc will work or not work based on certain carriers. On T-Mobile it'll work fine but on other carriers not all carrier specific feature work. Not everyone buys from Amazon unlocked because majority people in the US are used to only buying from carriers and they don't even know about other options or don't bother because it's easy to walk into carrier store to buy the carrier version, pay it as part of the monthly bill etc.

In the end, if you are in doubt or don't want to deal with unlocked phones buying carrier version is recommended and better in case you need carrier support. Personally, no carrier interaction and any carrier stuff is an advantage to me but not the same for everyone.

True, but if that is the case, why aren't more people going to Amazon? I myself am confused because the seller said it was the US Verizon version and then someone else said it worked with Tmobile, so I am really confused

I got an unlocked Prince Purple 512 from BB. The color has grown on me and the N9 rocks. I have no clue when my Blue 512 Verizon preorder is coming. Keeping it active, just to see how long it takes Verizon to ship it to Best Buy.

Yes, I've dubbed it Prince Purple. I have a black Samsung silicon case on it. Looks good at the bottom and camera areas the color is visible.

Entitled for having to wait a MONTH after release when my pre-order was placed only 5 days into the pre-order period? I think not. I placed my order 16 days ago and I still have 19 more days at the EARLIEST to get a shipping confirmation. A lot of people have dropped their pre-order due to Samsung's lack of preparation, so yes I believe some sort of compensation especially if we loose out on the pre-order gift because that promotion expires on September 13th.

That's good news, it used to say must be redeemed by 9/13. I am glad they are extending it.

A lot of stores are not going to carry it. Only available to order. At least that's the case at most of the AT&T stores in my area. They say the demand is not as high as the 128 to carry in stock.

The same with the iPhone. I wanted to buy the iPhone 7plus 128gb and couldn't find any in any store. I believe they just stock the basic lower GB in stores because that's what most people want.

Hahaha a guy at my work got the 128gb Note9 delivered to our office and after getting it all setup our office receptionist came to check out his new device and she said "Wow what kinda iPhone is that?" Dam iSheep.

That's unfortunate. The iPhones can't even do 1/4 of the things the Note9 can do. Rumor has it the new iPhones this year will be slight upgrades to the iPhone X (one will have a larger screen--big whoop). Yawn. I'm glad I got rid of my iPhone X. I don't miss it at all.

That's what I did. My iPhone X is gone. Back to the note. I switched from my note 8 to the iPhone X. Glad to be back.
