Blue tooth media stutters for the first 5 minutes

I have a new Ford car with the latest blue tooth. This car had almost no issues with the HTC 1X.

With the GS4 the Bluetooth media is not automatically connecting. I have to force it. Even worse then that
for the first 5 minutes it will stutter and then will work fine. I have only tried it with one ap (pocketcast).
