Bluetooth/A2DP Problem

Hi all, I did a search but couldn't find anything through this website or through Google's search engine. Here is my issue:

I have a car stereo that supports A2DP streaming from my Rezound. Fortunately, it connects without a problem with the standard battery cover. I can stream regular audio files stored in the phone, connect with Pandora, and stream iHeartRadio. When checking bluetooth on the Rezound, it states that it is connected to phone and media audio.

But, I have recently found that when I have my extended battery cover on the Rezound, I lose the A2DP streaming ability and can only connect for phone calls. When checking bluetooth on the Rezound, it states that it is connected to phone audio (no media).

I do not have access to another device at the moment that supports streaming via A2DP to test. Has anyone else noticed this issue or do I have a bad extended batter cover? Is there a fix other than trying another battery cover? There is a noticeable amount of connections missing on the extended battery cover compared to the standard battery cover.
Thanks.

Hmmm I'll have to see if I can duplicate your problem.

Is your extended battery cover the htc OEM, or is it a 3rd party product?

I have successfully connected to my car's bluetooth compatible head unit using both stock and extended battery covers... When I connect it says "connected (no media) " but I can still stream audio over bluetooth.

Interesting. Thanks for trying that out. I will have to try another extended battery cover. Anyone else?

UPDATE:

I tried the extended battery cover on the Rezound just now and for whatever reason, streaming worked. The bluetooth connection stated the same by telling me phone audio and no media audio just like it has been before. Streaming just worked this time. Guess the 4th try is the magic number.

So as cmandd stated, it appears the battery cover has nothing to do with bluetooth. I just don't know why it didn't work before but it works now. I just hope it continues to work.

Thanks everyone.
