I have a complex issue. For the past month all my Bluetooth headphones with microphones have been causing issues. When connected the audio with music is terrible - very thin, crackly, terrible sounding. When I go into Bluetooth settings and switch "calls" to off, the audio is great. Happens with all my Bluetooth headsets.
I spoke with Samsung and they don't know. I did a factory reset and still happening. I've narrowed it down to the audio codec (aptx?) giving me an issue. I was hoping the Bluetooth module could be replaced, but it's soldered to the motherboard in this phone and can't be replaced.
Just curious if anyone has had this happen before I go for a replacement device.
