bluetooth between 2 samsung devices

I have a galaxy nexus phone and then got a galaxy tab 2 10.1. Id like to be able to transfer things between them via bluetooth but when i try to make them connect, they can't "see" each other. Am i doing something wrong?

They're both "servers". A server can connect with a client (like a headphone), not with another server. You need software do do that. Bluetooth File Transfer will do it for you.
