Bluetooth Browsing

Has anyone been able to connect their SGT10.1 to a device (phone) via bluetooth and brows? I am using an older phone HTC AT&T Tilt with WinMobile6.1 but can connect my TomTom to it for weather updates via BT. I can pair with the phone but it will not connect.
Any help is appreciated.
