Bluetooth button disappeared from phone screen

I used to be able to disable use of Bluetooth headset when in a call by pressing Bluetooth button on the phone screen. Now that button is gone. Perhaps it happened after the recent update. Is there any way to get it back?

Are you talking about the Quick Settings menu that you get when you swipe down with two fingers?

No, not quick settings, the bottom row of buttons on the dialled screen had a Bluetooth button to disconnect from a connected headset. It did not turn off Bluetooth completely.

On my Nexus 5, when I'm using Bluetooth on a call, the speakerphone icon gets replaced by the Bluetooth icon. On your Dialer, is the speakerphone icon still visible?

Tap on the menu button while on a call, bluetooth will be a check button. This was a bad change, in my opinion. Hard to do while on the move.
