Bluetooth bypass lost upgraded to JellyBean RAZR

I used to be completely hands free. With one push of my bluetooth I could turn on & unlock the screen and call up voice commands and make a call. Now I have to turn on my phone, unlock the screen, choose voice commands or google search, then choose once or always. That's 4 physical manipulations of my phone. I do all my calls while driving - I'll probably end up in a wreck now! I've tried rebooting both devices and checked all the settings I could think of. Any help out there?
