Bluetooth (car kit) question

I do not have built in Bluetooth in my car, so I purchased a Samsung Bluetooth HF1000 car kit. It works great answering incoming calls from my GS3.

When I press the button to start an outgoing call, it opens S-Voice on the GS3. If the GS3 is not locked, I can use the Bluetooth's voice activation (S-voice) and place a call, just as if I was using the GS3 by itself. However, if the GS3 is locked (mine is set to lock after 10 minutes and requires a pin to unlock) the Bluetooth will not activate S-voice and therefor not allow me to place a call. In this case, I have to pick up the GS3 and unlock it before placing a call with the Bluetooth. I tried diabling S-voice, and the car kit did not work at all for outgoing calls.

Is there a way around this other than unlocking my GS3 while in the car?

You might consider "Delayed Lock" in play store. It adds lots of options as to when to lock and when not to. I use the WiFi plugin to auto disable the lock if the phone is connected to the home WiFi. There is a Bluebooth plugin to auto disable the lock when connected to a specific BT device, ie your car.

I have installed Delayed Lock and set the app to NOT LOCK my phone when connected to the Bluetooth in my car. That has resolved the issue. Thanks...
