Bluetooth connection between RAZR and Ubuntu

Hello,

I am having trouble making a bluetooth connection between my Droid RAZR and my computer running Ubuntu 11.10. I am able to pair the two devices, but I am unable to get them to connect. Does anyone have any ideas or have had a similar experience?
