I have the first Med El Sonata 3 processor in Australia. It connects to Android 13 Bluetooth as designed for streaming, but in Android 14 it pairs but will not connect. I have tried changing the AVRPC options with no different result. Any suggestions? Please?

Phone is a Samsung Galaxy A15 5G Model SM-A156E/N
Serial no. 352R5CX40NWCJE
One UI 6.1

Ok, and are you talking specifically about audio streaming through the hearing aids (i.e., listening to a music app via the hearing aids), or are you talking about listening to a phone call through them? From what I can find, phones have to support ASHA (Audio Streaming for Hearing Aids) in order for a hearing aid to act like earbuds for streaming media. If the phone doesn't support ASHA, but is still hearing aid compatible (HAC), I think they're only useful for phone calls.

On this official Samsung site, the A15 5G isn't listed (although oddly, the A13 and A14 are): https://www.samsung.com/latin_en/su...use-hearing-aids-with-samsung-galaxy-devices/. However, it's always possible that site has not been updated recently, so it might be a good idea to contact Samsung support using the methods at the bottom of that page.

Thanks for your time B. Diddy. With Android 13 the C.I. works with all audio streaming, including phone calls, reading books, and music. I was going on info I had read that Android 12 and later supported ASHA when I bought the new phone (and tablet, by the way. Same problem)

I will follow up with Samsung support as you suggest, but my information is that the Med El technical staff have already contacted them. I further understand that the device works fine on Android 14 in Europe, where it is manufactured. Isn't that weird?
