Bluetooth headset is no longer working on my phone...and it did before I reset it

Hi there,

I have an LG Optimus 4XD. up until ten days ago when I reset my phone, my Samsung EO-MN910 bluetooth headset would no longer pair with my LG Optimus phone.

However, I asked my friend to test it on his phone, and it worked fine.

So what is the problem?

It powers up and says "device is connected" when I hit the switch

When I try searching for devices--->> the bluetooth headset does not show up..

I'm driving with my phone and am scared that police may pull me over.

Need to get this bluetooth headset issue repaired.

Does the headset even show up in the Paired list, or is it completely gone? In other words, is the headset still paired but can't connect, or has the pairing been completely lost?

there is no pairing, the headset doesnt even show up when I search for bluetooth devices..

Do you have to press and hold a Connect or Pair button on the headset to initiate the pairing procedure?
